THE BEST GIG YOU HAVE BEEN TO?

Ozzfest 98 is probably my best ever gig. It was my first festival. The atmosphere was electric. I got to see some of my favourite bands.

Black Sabbath, Pantera, Slayer and Coal chamber.

The best bit was the Trash of Death where everyone threw their rubbish into the air around the bowl.

VENUE YOU WOULD LIKE TO PLAY

I would like to play the Garage in London as I was booked to play their once but the band I was in split just before we were due to play, so I'd like to go back there and actually play a gig.

A BAND THAT YOU SECRETLY LIKE

I wouldn't call it a secret band but I really do like 80's Electro pop. Especially Duran Duran. I also really like Eric Clapton, Dire Straits, Bob Marley, UB40. War of the Worlds is probably one of my favourites as well.

MUSICAL BACKGROUND

Dave found out that I played guitar, and even though I only knew how to play a couple of riffs he invited me round for a jam and we ended up writing a song for a new band he was forming called LEECH. I ended up swapping my guitar with the bassist at a rehearsal and fell in love with the bass. Ive been playing bass since around 98-99.

MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT ON STAGE?

During the LEECH years, we was asked to play the Thurrock Music Festival. The weather wasn't that great and it rained before we were due to go on, making the front of the stage soaking wet. I was pretty inebriated and walked to the front of the stage, forgetting how wet it was and nearly falling off the stage.

FAVOURITE SONG BY A CLASSICAL ARTIST

I do like some classical music, Vivldi's The Four Seasons, Flight of the Valkyries, Adagio and most of the classical songs used in the Tom and Jerry cartoons.

BAND YOU WOULD LIKE TO SUPPORT?

I would love to support Mastadon as I think they have a song for every mood, plus I think they are awesome.

BEST MEMORY OF A SHOW THAT WENT TO SEE?

I got backstage at a Devildriver gig and met a few of the bands on the bill. I never realised how short Dez is lol.

INSTRUMENT YOU WOULD LIKE TO PLAY?

i have started to learn how to play the drums as it's something I've always wanted to do.

FAVOURITE CHOCOLATE BAR?

I don't have a favourite chocolate bar anymore as I'm lactose intolerent but I do like drumstick lollies

BEST GIG YOU HAVE PLAYED?

Probably the best gig I played was with SCARRED BY NAME at the Green Park Tavern in Bath. We headlined the gig and it was excellent. We turned up early and ended up drinking all the other bands beer that was in the riders. At the end of the night everyone ended up sleeping in the bar, under the pool tables, on top of the pool tables and across the seats. We lost our singer at one point, he disappeared to a party with a girl but came back later because they had run out of beer.
